Congrats! I don’t blame you for wanting to keep everything on the DL…DH and I waited a looonng time before we were comfortable telling anyone. From one type I to another..don’t be surprised if you need to increase your basals and have some resistance before you hit the first tri lows. I remember in weeks 5/6 I started having some crazy BSs until about week 8. This surprised me because I had only heard about having to lower insulin the first tri. Wishing you a healthy 9 months!

congrats … still nothing with me almost 13months tryin .. I got ovulation test but almost all one . and still not a positive of that but we will keep trying

Yay your pregnant!! I miscarried my 2nd pregnancy and while it was awful telling everyone we decided as soon as we found out with this baby (I’m now 20wks) to let everyone know. Our reasoning was we wanted people to be happy with us instead of just sad if we miscarried again since we would have told them. Good luck and tons of sticky baby dust!

I NEVER got a blood test done for HCG or anything in any of my pregnancies or miscarriages. I was suprised at this as well…

Yay! Congrats. So glad to hear this!! FX for a Happy and Healthy 9 months. Looks like this will be a great New Year for a lot of us! I had an ultrasound and blood test at my first appointment but I assume it’s different for everyone depending on what the Doctor wants to do.
